100 Men Christian Gatherings

Who are We?

We are a self funding, inter-denominational group of Christian men from various churches across the city, who have come together as bond servants of Christ to seek and do His will. We are not affiliated to, or financially aided by, any church or organisation, seeking simply to give man access to God's word without charge.
If you would like to know more about us or the next Men's Gathering please use the contact form below left; or the details at the foot of the page.

Why did we start?

We sometimes found ourselves asking what we, as a small group of men, could do to enhance our journey with, and experience of God. It occurred to us that there may be other groups meeting asking similar questions, as well as feeling, as we did at times, rather isolated as Christian men.
After a lot of prayer we felt called to bring men together for an event. Since then we have organised 9 'gatherings', attracting over 50 men to each one.

What is our aim?

Simply put, our aim is to provide opportunities for Christian men to meet and discuss or share matters concerning their Faith and journey to, and with, God. In addition, to open up communication between men and men's group's to encourage the sharing of ideas, concerns, events, activities and to grow a sense of fellowship.
We pray that through this men's ministry in this  area will increase and strengthen.

Why '100 Men' ?

The idea for 100 Men developed through a small men's group based in St. John's  Church, Lower Weston, Bath; following a decision in 2009 to invite
other  men's group's to a one day conference. A late member of the
congregation had always encouraged the church to pray for the presence
of 100 men in the church, hence the title was chosen to honour this dream rather than to set a target (although to get 100 men attending would
not be a disaster!!)
